What is six step in street dance?

1. Basic Step:

a. Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart and your arms by your sides.

b. Step forward with your right foot and transfer your weight to that leg.

c. Bring your left foot to meet your right foot, then step back with your right foot and transfer your weight to your right leg again.

d. Repeat steps 1 and 2 with your left foot, stepping forward and then back.

2. Side-to-Side Step:

a. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your arms at your sides.

b. Step to the right with your right foot and transfer your weight to that leg.

c. Bring your left foot to meet your right foot, then step to the left with your left foot and transfer your weight to your left leg.

d. Repeat steps 1 and 2, alternating stepping to the right and left.

3. Criss-Cross Step:

a. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your arms by your sides.

b. Step forward with your right foot and transfer your weight to that leg.

c. Bring your left foot to meet your right foot, then cross it over your right foot.

d. Step back with your right foot and bring your left foot behind your right foot.

e. Step forward with your left foot and repeat steps 1-4.

4. Grapevine Step:

a. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your arms by your sides.

b. Step to the right with your right foot and transfer your weight to that leg.

c. Bring your left foot to meet your right foot, then step behind your right foot with your left foot and transfer your weight to your left leg.

d. Step to the left with your left foot and transfer your weight to that leg.

e. Bring your right foot to meet your left foot, then step behind your left foot with your right foot.

f. Repeat steps 1-5, alternating stepping to the right and left.

5. Cha-Cha Step:

a. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your arms by your sides.

b. Step forward with your right foot and transfer your weight to that leg.

c. Bring your left foot to meet your right foot, then step back with your right foot.

d. Step forward with your left foot and transfer your weight to that leg.

e. Bring your right foot to meet your left foot, then step back with your left foot.

f. Repeat steps b-e, alternating stepping forward and backward.

6. Shuffle Step:

a. Stand with your arms by your sides.

b. Take a small step forward with your left foot and transfer your weight to that leg.

c. Bring your right foot to meet your left foot, then take a small step back with your left foot.

d. Repeat steps 1 and 2, alternating stepping forward and backward.

e. As you get more comfortable with the shuffle step, you can start to add variations, such as stepping to the side, turning your body, or adding arm movements.
