Purchase an instructional DVD. Play the DVD in a room free of furniture and clutter, making sure you have enough room to move freely. Imitate the dance moves of the instructors. Wear comfortable, flat-soled shoes and loose-fitting clothing. Place a mirror next to the TV and watch how your dance moves compare to the instructor's moves.
Watch free reggae dance videos on YouTube. YouTube contains several short video clips that show viewers how to master reggae moves such as the pepperseed, the bogle, the butterfly and the upper body wave.
Practice what you have learned. Invite your friends over and dance to the sounds of Bob Marley, Johnny Nash and Shaggy. If you live in a metropolitan area, attend a Jamaican club or a reggae festival. Exchange dance tips with fellow reggae fans.
