Club Di isn't the trendiest bar in town, but it is one of the nicest. It plays host to a number of local classic rock, country and adult contemporary bands and has a resident DJ. Dining fare is limited but rich--cheeseburgers, french fries and onion rings are the most popular items on Di's menu. The club is adjacent to a hotel (The Desert Inn), so it's an option if you're just visiting and need a place to stay overnight. If you're a truck driver passing through and looking to take a couple of days off, the hotel has tractor-trailer parking. If you're a local and not into bass-thumping club music and laser light shows, Di is a place to hang out with a few friends on the weekend.

Remember that cool old bar from \"Ghost Rider,\" \"Dusk Till Dawn\" or \"Roadhouse\"? Well, The Trap is the true-life equivalent. Located on a lonely stretch of road on the edge of town (2822 E. Ave. I, on the outskirts of neighboring Lancaster), The Trap is not the place to be if power-ties, Bluetooth headsets and $1,000 suits are your thing. Prepare to soak in all of the best live hard-rock acts, floor-thumping dance music, local flavor and wet T-shirt contests you can stand.
Karaoke nights, themed parties and special events vary from week to week, but hard drinks, loud music and waitresses wearing somewhat \"form-fitting\" apparel are constants on any night of the week.

The Horseshoe Club isn't a night-club per se, it's more of a bar and lounge. If you want a relaxed atmosphere to sit with a few friends and enjoys a drink, The Horseshoe is for you. One of the more consistently praised aspects of this club is its decor, which is dark and intimate, but classy with a little bit of martini-bar vibe. If you're heading out for the evening and don't feel like making the 45-minute commute to L.A., don't show up wearing a ratty T-shirt; the Horseshoe is a more upscale establishment than many of Palmdale's bars, and caters to an affluent crowd. A limo isn't required, but wearing a blazer and a tie would not qualify as overdressing.
