Is dancing an instinct or a learned behavior?

While humans may have an innate predisposition to rhythm and movement, dancing as a complex cultural phenomenon goes beyond pure instinct. The vast majority of dances are learned behaviors passed down through generations or acquired through cultural interaction. Of course, individual improvisations and creative expressions within these dance forms may involve some instinctive elements, but the foundational movements and patterns are predominantly learned and socially transmitted. Therefore, we can consider dancing primarily a learned behavior.
