What is the folk fundamental steps of tarektek dance?

The Tarektek is an ethnic Filipino folk dance which originated from Lubuagan, Kalinga, Philippines. The dance is performed during festivities, such as weddings and thanksgiving celebrations(cañao) and is traditionally danced by male warriors to showcase their skills in combat.

Folk fundamental steps:

- Hop forward on the right foot and hop backward on the left foot.

- Repeat the first step twice more, alternating the hopping foot.

- On the fourth beat, jump both feet forward while clapping the hands.

- Repeat the first three steps, moving to the left.

- On the fourth beat, jump both feet backward while clapping the hands.

- Continue the dance by alternating between moving forward and backward.
