How do Pokemon learn old move?

Pokémon can learn old moves in a few ways, depending on the game:

1. TMs and HMs:

* TMs (Technical Machines): Reusable items that teach a Pokémon a specific move. You can find them in various locations, purchase them, or receive them as rewards.

* HMs (Hidden Machines): Similar to TMs, but they teach moves that are primarily used for navigating the environment, like cutting down trees or pushing boulders.

2. Move Tutor:

* Move Tutor: A special NPC who can teach Pokémon moves they haven't learned through other means. You often need to use special items or pay a fee to unlock this service.

3. Breeding:

* Egg Moves: Some moves can be passed down from parents to their offspring through breeding. Not all moves can be inherited, but some are specific to certain Pokémon lines.

4. Level-Up:

* Level-Up: Some Pokémon can learn old moves as they level up, especially if they have access to multiple move pools. It's not always guaranteed, but it's possible.

5. Evolution:

* Evolution: Some Pokémon learn old moves as they evolve. This can be a way to access moves that might not be available through other methods.

Important Note:

* Generation 6 and beyond: The "Move Tutor" system was removed, but "TMs" and "HMs" are still widely available. You can also use "Breeding" to unlock certain moves for your Pokémon.

To know which moves a Pokémon can learn and how to unlock them, you can use a Pokémon guide, a Pokédex, or consult online resources.
