1) Be between the ages of 13 and 21
2) Have strong acting, dancing, and singing skills
3) Be able to commit to a rigorous rehearsal and filming schedule
4) Submit an audition video showcasing your talents
If you meet all of these requirements, you can submit your audition video online through the official Disney Channel website. The casting directors will review all submissions and select a few candidates to participate in in-person auditions.
If you are selected for an in-person audition, you will be asked to perform a scene and dance routine, and you may also be asked to sing. The casting directors will evaluate your performance and decide whether or not to offer you a role on the show.
If you are offered a role on Shake It Up, you will be required to sign a contract and commit to a long-term filming schedule. You will also be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and dedication throughout the production of the show.
