How many plays were in the first folio?

The First Folio contained 36 of Shakespeare's plays, although one of them, Titus Andronicus, was attributed to William Shakespeare but is now believed to have been written by another playwright. Some of the most famous plays included in the First Folio are Hamlet, Macbeth, King Lear, and The Tempest.
