The La Jota Manileña is a traditional Spanish dance from Manila, Philippines. It is a lively, upbeat dance that is often performed at festivals and celebrations.

Here are the basic dance steps of La Jota Manileña:

1. The Basic Step:

- Facing your partner, stand with your feet together.

- On the first beat, step forward with your right foot.

- On the second beat, step forward with your left foot.

- On the third beat, hop on your right foot.

- On the fourth beat, step in place with your left foot.

2. The Side Step:

- With your partner, start in the basic step position.

- Step to the right on the first beat.

- Step to the left with the second beat.

- Step back on the third beat and step close with your left foot on the fourth beat.

- Repeat to the left with your left foot first.

3. The Turning Step:

- With your partner, start in the basic step position.

- Step forward on the first beat, turning to the right.

- Step back with the second beat.

- Step back with the third beat, turning to the left to complete the circle.

4. The Stamp Step:

- With your partner, start in the basic step position.

- Step forward with your right foot onto your partner’s left foot on the first beat.
