In the book rules does catherine og to dance with Jason?

In "The Rules" by Jane Green, Catherine does go to dance with Jason. Catherine and Jason meet at a wedding and immediately show a friendly interest in each other. When Jason gets drunk and starts causing a scene, Catherine helps him out of the room and they end up dancing together in a private area.
