Why all poems rhyme?

Not all poems rhyme. In fact, many poems do not rhyme at all. Some types of poetry, such as free verse, do not have any rhyme scheme at all. Other types of poetry, such as sonnets, have a specific rhyme scheme that is followed throughout the poem.
