How does the poem a soldier by Angela Goodwin go?

A Soldier by Angela Goodwin

In battle's fierce and bloody fray,

Where bullets rain and cannons bray,

A soldier stands with courage high,

His heart unyielding, his spirit nigh.

Through hostile lands, he treads the ground,

His steps in unity, his nation bound.

With eyes that pierce the deepest night,

He seeks the truth, and guards the right.

With loyal heart and steady aim,

He fights for peace and freedom's flame.

No fear he knows, no doubt he holds,

His strength unshaken, his story unfolds.

For on his shoulders, rests the fate,

Of those who trust in justice's state.

A soldier's journey, noble and grand,

Defending freedom in this sacred land.

Beneath the banner of honor bright,

He marches on, with all his might.

Through storms and trials, he perseveres,

His spirit unbroken, his mission clears.

For freedom's cause, he bravely fights,

With valor's might and unwavering sights.

A symbol of hope, a guardian true,

A soldier's heart forever pure and blue.

Salute we must, with reverence and pride,

Those heroes who for freedom stride.

Their sacrifices, forever engraved,

In the hearts of those who love and saved.

So let us honor their noble stand,

And pray for peace in every land.

For soldiers' courage, may we find,

A way to build a world more kind.
