Instructions

    • 1

First you need to see if you have Windows Media on your computer. If not, download a copy from the Microsoft website. Follow download instructions.

    • 2

Place blank CD in computer. If music is already existing on the computer, go to your media library and choose the songs you want to burn on your CD. Point your mouse on the title of the song and drag it to your burn list.

    • 3

There is a indicator above the list that keeps track of how full the CD is, until it becomes full and you can no longer add songs to your burn list. When CD is full, hit the "start burn" button at the bottom of the list. The process will begin burning the music to the CD. Depending upon how many songs and how fast your computer is, it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to up to an hour.

If you are wanting to make a copy of another CD, make sure you have copy rights, or get permission to copy the CD from the publisher and/or songwriter. Once permission is attained, you will need to rip the CD to the media player library, by pointing the mouse to the rip button and hit start rip. Once ripping is completed you will be able to start the recording/burning process to the blank CD. See Step 3.

Once the burning process is completed, windows media will automatically eject the CD from computer.
