What is an example of eternal rhyme?

Eternal rhyme, also known as perfect rhyme, is a type of rhyme where the last stressed vowel and all following sounds are identical. This means that the words sound exactly the same from the last stressed vowel onward.

Here is an example:

"light" and "night"

Both words have the same stressed vowel sound ("i") and the same ending sounds ("t").

Other examples of perfect rhymes include:

* "moon" and "June"

* "flower" and "power"

* "cry" and "sky"

* "dream" and "scream"

It's important to note that eye rhyme, where words are spelled similarly but pronounced differently, is not considered eternal rhyme. For example, "love" and "move" are not perfect rhymes because the vowel sounds are different.
