What does bleed her mean in the witch of blackbird pond?

"Bleed her" in The Witch of Blackbird Pond refers to a superstitious practice called cupping or bloodletting, which was commonly believed to cure illnesses by drawing out "bad blood" from the body. In the novel, the phrase is used when Hannah Tupper accuses Kit Tyler of "bleeding her" (causing her to lose blood) through witchcraft, leading to Kit's trial and near-execution.
