There once lived a teacher named Grumps.
With a frown firmly etched on her face,
She ruled the classroom with her iron case.
Her voice boomed like thunder and lightning,
As she paced the room with eyes glinting.
Students trembled at the sight,
For Grumps never spoke of things right.
Morning assemblies filled with dread,
As the Grumpy Teacher read the news instead.
Rules were strict and punishments severe,
For in Grumps' class, no joy could appear.
Lessons dragged on like endless chores,
With yawns and sighs and lots of bores.
Imagination was not allowed,
For in Grumps' world, all dreams were disallowed.
One day, a new boy arrived with a grin,
Determined to let his spirit shine in.
He doodled and laughed, defying the norm,
Bringing a ray of sunshine into the storm.
The Grumpy Teacher tried her best,
To dampen the boy's spirited quest.
But he refused to be put down,
Spreading laughter and joy all around.
Students started to join in the fun,
As the teacher's stern facade undone.
Laughter echoed in the classroom once again,
Replacing the frowns with smiles, amen!
And so, the grumpy teacher's reign came to an end,
As the laughter bug swept through the school like a trend.
Grumps realized the beauty in joy and mirth,
And became a loved teacher, bringing smiles from birth.
