Who wrote the first poem?
There is no definitive answer to this question as the origin of poetry is not known for certain. Poetry has been around for thousands of years, and the author of the first poem remains anonymous. However, there are many early poems that have been preserved and are attributed to different authors. One of the earliest known poems is the "Epic of Gilgamesh," an ancient Sumerian poem dating back to around 2100 BC. This poem tells the story of the legendary King Gilgamesh of Uruk, and is considered one of the first great works of literature. Another early poem is the "Rigveda," a collection of ancient Indian religious hymns dating back to around 1500 BC. These poems are attributed to various authors, and are considered some of the oldest surviving works of literature in the world.
