Childhood:

William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor was born on June 21, 1982, at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, as the first child of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales. He was christened on August 4, 1982, at Buckingham Palace.

William spent much of his early life at Highgrove House, the private residence of the Prince of Wales in Gloucestershire. He had a close relationship with his mother, who was known for her warmth and informality. Diana often took William and his younger brother, Prince Harry, on outings, including to theme parks and McDonald's.

In 1987, William started attending Mrs. Mynor's Nursery School in London, where he developed a passion for sports, especially soccer. He later went to Ludgrove School in Berkshire, where he excelled academically and became head boy in his final year.

Education:

William's academic education has been extensive. After completing his studies at Ludgrove School, he attended Eton College, one of the most prestigious schools in the United Kingdom. He studied subjects such as history, geography, and art history, and was also a member of the school's rowing team.

Following his time at Eton, William took a gap year, during which he participated in a number of adventurous activities, including trekking in Chile, volunteering at a conservation project in Africa, and working on dairy farms in New Zealand.

William then decided to pursue a university degree, and enrolled at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland in 2001. He studied art history and graduated in 2005 with a Master of Arts degree. During his time at St. Andrews, he met Catherine Middleton, who would later become his wife.

After completing his formal education, William underwent military training, first with the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and later with the Royal Air Force. He served in the British armed forces for several years, eventually becoming a helicopter pilot with the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Force.
