2. She lived a long and eventful life: Susanna Dickinson survived the Alamo and went on to live a long life, eventually passing away in 1883 at the age of 82. She witnessed immense change in her lifetime, from the Texas Revolution to the rise of the American West. She also had a large family, and her descendants continue to carry on her legacy today.
