who wrote Gone with the Wind ?

The American novelist Margaret Mitchell wrote the historical novel Gone with the Wind. In June 1936, the Macmillan firm released Gone with the Wind to largely positive reviews. Within six months of its publication, the book had sold over a million copies and went on to become one of the best-selling novels of all time.
