Stevenson formerly played for the St Helens R.F.C. (Reserve Team), Widnes Vikings, Leigh Centurions, St Helens R.F.C., Warrington Wolves, and the Toronto Wolfpack in the Betfred Super League. He also played for Rochdale Hornets in the Championship, and spent time on loan at the Halifax Panthers in the Championship.
Stevenson has played for England at youth international level.
