What were Abigail and the girls doing in forest when Reverend Parris saw them book The Crucible by Arthur Miller?

In Arthur Miller's play "The Crucible," it is not Abigail and the girls who are found in the forest by Reverend Parris. It is his daughter, Betty Parris, and Abigail Williams who are discovered dancing in the forest with Tituba, a slave from Barbados, by Reverend Parris.
