The paragraph when Voldemort is killed in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?

The paragraph where Voldemort is killed is actually a little more complex than just one. It's built up over a few sentences in the final confrontation:

>"The Elder Wand, in Harry's hand, gave a deafening crack. Voldemort's face contorted, he shrieked in pain, and Harry's scar burned white-hot. He felt his own wand, the one he'd taken from Snape, bucking in his grasp, and a wave of terror, cold and sickening, swept over him as Voldemort's body seemed to split, to shatter, and the green light that had filled the clearing was extinguished, leaving the air utterly black and the ground littered with little pieces of ash like fallen leaves."

This paragraph describes the moment when Harry, wielding the Elder Wand, disarms Voldemort, causing the rebounding curse from the Killing Curse to rip through Voldemort's body. The green light of the Killing Curse is extinguished, and Voldemort's body is reduced to ash, leaving only a sense of complete emptiness in its wake.
