What was William Tyndales gerbil called?
There is no historical record or evidence to suggest that William Tyndale owned a gerbil, let alone had one named. He lived from 1494 to 1536, and gerbils were not introduced to Europe until the late 19th century.
William Tyndale was famous for his translation of the Bible into English, and it's unlikely he would have had the time or resources to own a pet.
