Scheherazade is an orchestral suite by Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. It is based on the stories from One Thousand and One Nights, and was written between 1888 and 1889. The suite consists of four movements:

* The Sea and Sinbad's Ship

* The Story of the Kalendar Prince

* The Young Prince and the Young Princess

* Festival at Baghdad

Scheherazade is one of Rimsky-Korsakov's most popular works, and is considered to be one of the most important works of Russian orchestral music. It is known for its colorful orchestration and its use of Eastern melodies and rhythms.
