Why did Sophie Webster on Coronation Street become Christian?

There is no character called Sophie Webster on Coronation Street. There is, however, a Sophie Webster played by actress Brooke Vincent on the British television soap opera Hollyoaks. In the show, Sophie Webster did not become a Christian.
