Does anyone have any information about the long lost tv series Two Girls Named Smith?

The show did not do particularly well in the ratings, and was cancelled in 1989. The series consisted of 26 episodes in total, and was never fully released on home media in any form. Because of this, the series has somewhat fallen into obscurity, with re-runs of the series very rarely being shown.
