What was Lucy Maud religion?

Lucy Maud Montgomery was a member of the Presbyterian church. Her religious beliefs played an important role in her writing, and many of her characters are deeply religious. In her most famous work, Anne of Green Gables, Anne's faith is a source of strength and comfort to her. Montgomery also wrote several Christian novels, including "The Story Girl" and "A Tangled Web."
