Go to Storywrite and create an account. The sign-up process takes just a minute and is completely free. There are several such writing websites on the Internet, but Storywrite has all you need to write, share and print your story without having to purchase or download anything.
Hover over the "Add a Story" option at the top of the page. You will see a drop down menu with a number of selections, some of which are "Story," "Journal" and "Poem." There is also an option that allows you to add a line to an ongoing community story. Click on the "Story" option to get started.
Click on "Show Rich Text Buttons" to display your writing tools, then type the title of your story in the space allocated for your title. Beneath that space, begin writing your story. You don't have to write the entire story at one sitting. At the bottom of the page is a "Save as Draft" that you can use to save your story to work on later.
Check your story spelling using the system's spellchecker, then add an image to your story using the image uploader. Before you print your story, you can categorize your story and indicate other users who will be able to access your story, edit it or comment on it. To print your story, use the "File" command and select "Print." Your story will print out, along with any additional user comments or ratings.
