Start your game of "MapleStory" and take your characters to the area in which you want your comic to be set.
Move characters into position for the first frame of the comic and press the "Prt Scrn" ("Print Screen") button on your keyboard---usually at or near the top of the keyboard.
Open a new image within an image-editing program such as Microsoft Paint or Adobe Photoshop and right-click within the canvas. Choose "Paste." Your comic's first frame will be pasted into the canvas.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you have all the frames you want for your comic. For this first three-panel story, stick to capturing just three images.
Open another new image, with a canvas size of 900 pixels by 300 pixels. (For longer comics, add 300 pixels for each additional frame.)
Use your software's "Line" tool to divide the canvas into three equally sized panels.
Return to the first image captured from "MapleStory." Select the area of the picture you want to use for the first panel of your comic. Right-click and select "Copy."
Open your large canvas and right-click. Select "Paste." Use your image-editing software to move, stretch or clip your "MapleStory" image so it fits within the first panel of your comic strip.
Use your software's "Ellipse" and "Text" tools to draw speech bubbles for the characters and fill these bubbles with words. (In the Windows 7 version of Microsoft Paint, the "Shapes" menu contains rectangular and oval "Callout" shapes that are perfectly suited to this purpose.)
Repeat Steps 7 through 9 to fill in the remaining panels of your strip and give your comic strip words and a story.
Open the "File" menu of your graphics software and select "Save as."
Change the "File type" box to PNG, GIF or BMP. Type a name into the "File name" box and click "Save" to save your first "MapleStory" comic.
