When did Liesel Meminger die in The Book Thief?

The Book Thief is written from Death's perspective, and it's clear that Liesel Meminger does die, but the exact time of her death isn't explicitly stated.

It's implied that she dies sometime after the war, perhaps from old age. Death recounts her life and then concludes the story with the following:

* "I am always here. Always. And so is she. In this story. And in the stories that are yet to come."

This ending suggests that Liesel's story continues to live on, even after her physical death.
