Did Walt Disney write a book?

Walt Disney didn't write a book in the traditional sense, meaning he didn't author a novel or memoir. However, he did contribute to many projects that resulted in books.

Here are a few ways Walt Disney was involved with books:

* Autobiography: While Walt Disney didn't write a full-length autobiography, he collaborated on "Walt Disney's Story of the World" (1953) with his brother Roy Disney and journalist Richard Wallace. This book chronicled Walt's life and career.

* Concept and Story Development: Disney was deeply involved in the creation of many animated films and live-action movies that later became books. He played a key role in developing the stories and characters that were then adapted for different formats, including books.

* Disney Publishing: Disney founded a publishing company (now known as Disney Publishing Worldwide) which produced countless books based on his characters, films, and theme park attractions. These books were written by various authors under the Disney umbrella.

So, while Walt Disney didn't author a book himself, he played a significant role in the creation and publication of many books that have entertained generations of readers.
