Who filled in for Heath Ledger The Dark Knight?

Heath Ledger tragically passed away before the release of "The Dark Knight" and there was no one who filled in for him.

The film's creators, director Christopher Nolan and the studio Warner Bros., made the decision to honor Ledger's legacy and complete the film as it was intended, using the footage he had already shot.

This included using a combination of:

* Existing footage: Most of the Joker's scenes were already completed.

* CGI: Some scenes required the use of CGI to complete his performance, but these were minimal and focused on finishing shots or making small adjustments.

* Body double: A body double was used for a few specific scenes.

* Archive footage: Footage of Ledger from previous films was also used for certain scenes.

The film was a huge success, and Ledger posthumously won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as the Joker. It is considered one of the greatest superhero films ever made and serves as a powerful tribute to Ledger's talent and dedication.
