Will David Tenant come back to doctor who in series 5?

David Tennant did not appear in Doctor Who series 5, which aired in 2010. He left the show in 2009, and was succeeded by Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor.

However, he did return for the 50th anniversary special in 2013, and later had a brief appearance in series 10 (2017).

So, while he was not in series 5, he has returned to the show for special occasions since.
