The Seahawk in "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle" has four levels.

* The Main Deck: This is the top level, where the captain and crew spend most of their time.

* The Quarterdeck: This is a raised platform at the back of the main deck, reserved for the captain and officers.

* The Gun Deck: This is below the main deck, and houses the cannons.

* The Orlop Deck: This is the lowest level, where the crew sleeps and eats.
