In September 1969, a rumor began circulating the Beatles fans around the world which alleged that Paul McCartney had died in a car accident during the 1960 and was subsequently replace with look-alike.

Alleged change in appearance and behavior: Some believed that the "new" Paul had an appearance and personal changes to the original.
"Strawberry field forever :" lyrics : Fans interpreted lyrics from this the beatles 1967 ballad as clues to Puals "Death" - notably the lines
