How many libraries in tamil nadu?

There are approximately 16,728 libraries in Tamil Nadu as of my latest update in May 2022. These libraries include various types such as public libraries, government libraries, college libraries, university libraries, special libraries, and more.

The most famous library in Tamil Nadu is the State Central Library which was established in 1892 during the British rule. This library, located in Chennai houses books in diverse languages on numerous subjects.
