How to Renew Books

You checked out your book, promised to read it and life got in the way. Now a due date looms, and you have to read nonstop or return the book to the library to avoid fines. Fortunately, most library systems offer renewal services for these situations. Use your library's website, a phone call or an in-person visit to the circulation desk to renew your materials. This resets the loan period for your items and provides you with more time to finish your reading.

Verify the new due dates for your materials and update your calendar or planner.
