"The Martian Chronicles" is a collection of 28 science-fiction short stories written by Ray Bradbury in the 1940s. The Chronicles are a set of vignettes following mankind's colonization of Mars, starting in the summer of 1999 and concluding in 2026. Originally published individually in a number of science-fiction magazines, the most common way to read them is in an omnibus collection.
