How to Read Marvel Comics on a PSP

In the fall of 2009, Marvel released its famous comics in digital form to the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP). This was an aggressive move by Marvel, which has been leading the world of comic books and graphic novels into the digital age. The PSP is just one of many digital venues that Marvel is targeting for a new techie generation; iPhone, iPad and Android-based phones and tablets are also included in the digital revolution. But the PSP is particularly well-positioned in the market, because Marvel's focus is the video game demographic to which comic books tend to appeal.

     Turn on your PSP.

     Establish a wireless Internet connection. Use the security password if necessary to connect.

     Go to the PlayStation Store, and click the tab in the right corner that says "Books." Here you will find hundreds of titles from which to choose. Download the comic title that you would like to read. It will cost you a couple of bucks.

     Open your newly downloaded comic book, and start reading. Use the controls to navigate through the pages of the comic book.
