Did they actually burn the books in movie Fahrenheit 451?
No, they didn't actually burn the books in the 1966 film adaptation of Ray Bradbury's novel "Fahrenheit 451." In both the novel and the movie, books are strictly prohibited and firefighters are tasked with burning any that are found. However, in the movie, the main character Guy Montag (played by Oskar Werner) is shown saving a few books from being burned.
