What has the author Abebe Haile Gabriel written?

Abebe Haile Gabriel (*1942 - 2019*) is an Ethiopian linguist, translator, historian and professor. He has held various academic positions in the Department of Linguistics and Ethiopic Studies of Addis Ababa University. He is a native speaker of Amharic and, through his work as a polyglot writer and translator, he has contributed to the translation and interpretation of literary and philosophical works from Amharic to Arabic, English, and French, and vice versa. He is most known for his monumental work, ‘The Abyssinian Chronicles’, a five volume translation and edition of the Kebra Nagast.
