How to Send a Letter to the Editor of the New York Times

Everyone's got an opinion. After all, opinions are easy to have. They cost nothing to make or store. And, more importantly, when your current opinion suddenly becomes out-dated or altogether wrong, you can easily change it for another. One of the best ways of getting your opinion out there is by writing a letter to the "New York Times." Every day, the "New York Times" publishes many of the letters that it receives. Sending a letter to the editor of the "New York Times" is very easy.

      Send your letter only to the "New York Times" and not to any other organization.
