Who is Newman R. Marshman the black inventor of typewriter?

There is no known record of a black inventor named Newman R. Marshman who invented the typewriter.

The invention of the typewriter is generally attributed to Christopher Latham Sholes in 1873. However, several other individuals contributed to its development, including:

* Carlos Glidden: Developed the first practical typewriter in 1867.

* Samuel W. Soule: Invented the first commercially successful typewriter in 1874.

* James Densmore: Partnered with Sholes to bring the typewriter to market.

While African Americans have made significant contributions to science, technology, engineering, and math, there is no evidence to support the claim that Newman R. Marshman invented the typewriter.

It's important to rely on reliable sources and historical records when researching such claims.
