Paper Boat Folding Instructions

What if I told you that I could teach you how to construct a boat out of one single sheet of paper? Impressive, I know, but there's more. What if I told you, that you could then wear that boat on your head? It's not impossible. With these simple steps, you're paper boat will be sailing down the river in no time or you'll be wearing your paper boat hat to a gala event.

     Cut paper into an even square. The larger the square, the larger the boat.

     Fold the square across the middle, making the top touch the bottom.

     Fold the corners on the crease inward so that they touch and create a triangle sail.

     Fold the top sheet of paper on the bottom up to secure the sail. Turn the boat over and do the same for the back.
