Free Peoples:
* Men: The most numerous of the Free Peoples, with many different cultures and kingdoms.
* Númenóreans: A powerful and ancient race of Men, blessed by the Valar with great skill and longevity. They eventually fell to pride and were destroyed, but some survived and formed the kingdoms of Gondor and Arnor.
* Dúnedain: Descendants of the Númenóreans, they are known for their strength, wisdom, and resistance to evil.
* Men of the West: This term refers to the kingdoms of Gondor, Arnor, Rohan, and other human realms in Middle-earth.
* Men of the East: These include the Easterlings, who are often allied with Sauron.
* Men of the South: This group includes the Haradrim, who are also often allies of Sauron.
* Hobbits: Small, peaceful, and nature-loving creatures who live in the Shire. They are known for their love of food, comfort, and simple pleasures.
* Dwarves: Skilled craftspeople and miners, they are known for their love of treasure and their stubborn nature.
* Elves: Ancient and wise beings with great beauty and skill in magic, music, and craftsmanship. They are deeply connected to nature and are often seen as guardians of the wild.
Other Humanoid Races:
* Orcs: Twisted and deformed creatures created by Morgoth, the first Dark Lord. They are often portrayed as brutal and savage.
* Goblins: Smaller and more cunning than Orcs, Goblins are also evil and treacherous.
* Trolls: Large, slow, and lumbering creatures with a taste for human flesh.
* Uruk-hai: Bred by Saruman, these are a crossbreed of Orcs and Men. They are stronger and more cunning than regular Orcs.
It's important to note that there are other, less humanoid races in Middle-earth, such as the Ents (tree-like beings), the Eagles (powerful birds), and the Wargs (wolf-like creatures).
