What is the dawn stone used for in HeartGold?

The Dawn Stone is used to evolve Snorunt into Froslass, a Ghost/Ice-type Pokémon.

This is the only Pokémon it can evolve, and it's one of the key items you'll need to complete your Pokédex in HeartGold.
