Where is Ratchet in Transformers Dark of the Moon?

Ratchet is not in the Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie. He was last seen in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) where he was killed by the Decepticons.

While he is a popular character in the Transformers franchise, his death in the film series meant he was not included in Dark of the Moon.
