Who invented kimchi?

Kimchi is a traditional Korean dish made from salted and fermented vegetables, typically napa cabbage and Korean radish. Its origins can be traced back to the ancient Goguryeo Kingdom (37 BC-668 AD), one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea.

However, the exact inventor of kimchi is not known as it evolved over time through collective cultural practices and experimentation within Korean society.
