What are the Lollipop Lane dolls?

Lollipop Lane dolls were plastic fashion dolls produced by American Character Doll Company from 1957 to 1964. The dolls resembled 7 or 8-year-old girls and measured about 16 inches (41 cm) tall. They had straight or slightly curly saran hair rooted into their vinyl heads and molded eyelashes, and their bodies were made of hard plastic with jointed arms, legs, and necks. Molded panties were included with each doll.

Lollipop Lane dolls came dressed in a variety of outfits, including rompers, dresses, and play clothes, and each outfit came with matching shoes. Some of the dolls also came with accessories, such as a hat or a purse.

The Lollipop Lane dolls were sold individually or in gift sets, and they were a popular toy for girls in the 1950s and 1960s. They are still considered to be a collectible item today, and their value can vary depending on the condition of the doll and its original outfit.
